Things and stuff
Alright, I’ve been quiet on the blogging front. I’ve started working, with the days long and intense. I’ve been telling everyone that I’m enjoying the work but I’m not being quite truthful with that one.
I do like the work and the people but I’m just sinking at the moment. There is a lot to take in and I feel (like in any job) that I have to prove myself, to prove I was the right choice. And I want to do it but it’s just that there is resistance somewhere on the line. I can’t really explain it any more than that.
It’ll all work out for the best, I know it will but I am not good to be around right now. I’ve been mean and agitated. It’s stress, I can tell but I’m just not at the stage where I can fix it right now.
Adding to this, I have my usual list of shit to worry about (money, life after the job, flat hunting). The only assurance is that in two short months, everything will be sorted out. Just gotta play the waiting game I suppose.
Anyway, that’s enough of a rant for now. I better sleep soon otherwise the early morning will not be fun.
And so I don’t forget: my friend is visiting from CO soon which will be amazing fun at the festival and I think I’m gonna visit a friend in Sweden sometime after that. That should make the next few months interesting.
